Why Are Arai Liners So Soft?
They don’t have to be! In fact, it would be cheaper and easier to use a harder liner, but that’s not good enough for Arai, and it shouldn’t be good enough for you.
Arai’s strong shell lets us use softer EPS materials, which are more comfortable against your head. And, Arai’s multi-density or one-piece liner design, developed by Arai, allows for a thinner and more uniform thickness so the helmet follows the natural shape of your head more closely.
